Ricky is able to run the offense as well as break down a defense for his own opportunity as well as his teammate's.. He pushes the ball in transition often able to finish above the rim. Ricky excelled his junior year (2005/06) and senior year (2006/07) at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro leading the team in scoring, being voted all conference, leading the conference in steals (10th in the nation), and getting praise all over for his offensive and defensive abilities. Ricky enjoyed a relatively succesful first year as a pro leading Otopeni in scoring. Ricky joined the Romanian side halfway the season and played 18 games total but somehow the Romanian federation kept stats of only eleven of those games (he averaged 19 ppg during those eleven games but 22,3 over the full eighteen games). Ricky brings intensity to the court, displaying a wide arsenal of offensive weapons which include a solid 3pointer, a quick crossover, good passing ability, and a strong finish at the basket. He also is a very smart defender who comes up with many steals and also has a good nose for the rebound, coming up with quite a few for his position and height. Ricky is extemely coachable and is looking to build upon his first experiences as a pro and will be an excellent addition to teams looking for scoring, defense, and leadership..
