| Fells inks with Kataja
American Power Forward Darren Fells have signed a..
.. .. contract to go play for Joensuu Kataja in the Finnish Korisliiga. Coach Jukka Toijala attended the Court Side ProCamp in Las Vegas last week where he did see Darren in action. He immediately decided he wanted to sign the big strong forward. Fells spent his first two years as a pro with Leuven in the Belgian league, and is expected to have his role to increase now that he choose to play for the Finnish side. Kataja has high ambitions for this coming season and hope Fells can lead them back to being a top team after finishing 1st in the regular season two years ago Kataja enjoyed a tougher season finishing in 7th place last year. Fells is expected in Finland for training camp at the end of August.
